All students in years 10 and 11 are currently studying for the WJEC short course GCSE, Religion and Life Issues(Specification B Unit 1 - 4451).

The four units studied are -:

The two religions studied are Christianity and Islam.  Students will sit one examination of 1 hour 45 minutes.

Some students in years 10 and 11 have also opted to study for a GCSE full course, Religion and Life and Religion and Society (Unit 1 and Unit 8).  The chosen examination board is Edexcel.  The specification code is 2RSO1. The paper code for Religion and Life is 5RSO1 and 5RSO8 for Religion and Society.  Students will sit two examination papers, both of which are 1 hour 30 minutes.  Past papers and mark schemes can be found on the Edexcel website.  Please note that students will not be able to access the most recent papers/mark schemes but all others will be available to view.
