We are a Windows PC based school and as such recommend that should you wish to purchase a computer for your daughter that a Windows PC with Microsoft Office is the most suitable system.

If you decide to go with an Apple Mac system we recommend that you include Microsoft Office as the standard software for Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations.

Should you be considering a Laptop system, we strongly do not recommend any Google Chromebook.

Chromebooks are not designed to support the installation of software and only use Google's own applications. This means that programs like Microsoft Office, Python, and Photoshop are unlikely to work.

Use the Export option in Pages to save the document in the Microsoft Word format.

To do this, simply go to the File > Export menu where you will see an option for Word and some more generic formats like RTF and TXT.
