All pupils study Latin in Year 8 and 9. They will meet Caecilius, a real Pompeian, and follow stories centering on his daily life and that of his household.  Lessons are balanced between language, grammar and Roman history.  Students will also have a chance to compare the ease of life in Pompeii with the hustle and bustle of Rome in 64 CE.
