| With the increasing use of technology in all aspects of modern life and the fast pace at which it changes there is a fundamental need for us to understand the devices and machines that are commonly used in the world around us. In Computing, we aim to deliver and improve the skills, knowledge and understanding of technology of the learners. Our Computing syllabus encompasses Computer Science, IT and digital literacy so that our learners are provided with the absolutely essential abilities and knowledge to be able to manage, repair, operate, programme, use and understand the technology in everyday life. We aim to help our students not only to master a wide range of technical skills in IT and programming, but to develop their understanding of safe, purposeful and responsible use of and application of the skills they have learned for their own education, everyday life and future employment. |
