Key Stage 3 ScienceAll pupils study a common scheme of work, which follows the national curriculum. A variety of different teaching techniques are used allowing pupils to participate in practical work, discussions on topical issues and to experience all three subjects that make up the science curriculum (biology, chemistry and physics). |

Key Stage 4 ScienceAll pupils follow a GCSE Science course within the school, taught by subject specialist teachers. All pupils choose between Seperate Science, or Combined Science at a higher tier level. The curriculum builds upon the work done in Key Stage 3, developing the understanding of the students and extending their practical skills. |
BiologyFrom investigating the effects of caffeine on heart rate or the antimicrobial properties in plants to conducting some of the techniques used in forensics. Biology offers an active exploration of the many exciting aspects of Science that have furthered our understanding of life on Earth. |
