Key Stage 5

Students have nine lessons a fortnight, including one double lesson. They are taught by both art teachers. In this key stage students are encouraged to take ownership of their creative direction. They will continue to learn new skills and develop their understanding of practitioners and their own work and research other sources of inspiration. We will also challenge their perception and ways of seeing.
 
Year 12
Term 1&2: Drawing workshops challenging perception. Creation of visual diary/critical journal. Foreign study visit.
Term 3&4 Skills workshops exploring processes including Photoshop, i movie and stop frame animation. Photography brief: 30 photos.
Term 5&6 Personal response to a range of questions.  Externally set assignment. Exam. Exhibition. Personal investigation.

Year 13
Term 1,2&3: Personal investigation. Present artists talks. Foreign study visit.
Term 4,5&6: Externally set assignment. Exam. Exhibition.
