Assessment in PE

Students should use the progress/assessment levels on the left hand side in order to assess their own performance against National Curriculum levels. The progress/assessment levels can also be used to identify ways that students can improve their own performance and subsequently their own progress/assessment level. An approximate guide to progress/assessment level scores in PE is identified below:

End of Y8 4a 5 5a
End of Y9* 5a 6 6a

* please note new sports such as trampolining and volleyball are introduced at Y9-hence progress maybe slower.
